Our 2024 Tasting Experiences
The Pommard Experience
Maison Shaps owns land in two different Climats of Pommard - Les Vignots et Les Vaumuriens. Join us for an in-depth discovery into the nuances of each plot. The experience will begin at our production site in Bligny-les-Beaune where Hanna Shaps will introduce you to Maison Shaps and the basics of winemaking. You will get to see our cuverie and aging cellar as well as taste from a barrel or two ! Once acclimated to the winery, you will try eight wines (including a 1er cru) and the 2022 Les Vaumuriens and Les Vignots and learn to identify the unique terroir present in each. At the end of your tasting, you will follow Hanna by car to visit the plots and learn what makes each one special.

Open Houses
Select weekends throughout the year, we will open the doors of our tasting space in Meursault to welcome you for a classic wine tasting of 5 to 7 wines.
Duration : 1 hour
Price per person : 15 €
Prestige option - Standard tasting plus a 1er Cru and a Grand Cru: 45 €
Dates : May 10-12, May 18-20, July 5-7 , August 15-18

The Virginia Wine Tasting
Discover the wines of Michael Shaps Winery. Maison Shaps is proud to carry six amazing Virginia wines ! We look forward to introducing you to Virginia viticulture and teaching you about the state’s AVAs. The tasting will include the following wines : Viognier, Chardonnay, Petit Manseng, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Tannat.
